What a beautiful day for racing last Sunday!
We had around 50 racers between our Bracket, heads up and test classes.
Pro Outlaw only had 4 come out, but the crowd loved it! Noel Latour came all the way from Orlando, FL and took the win over Jonathan Abrams. Its been awhile since we have since Noel out and certainly glad to see him out and racing again.
We had a double winner in Super Pro and Pro, as Mel Shealy took on both classes and won!
The VAG heads up class had just a few entries this time, but still had a great time getting out there and racing. Maybe this class will pickup and give more later model VW/Audis a place to race.
Points update following this race has Tim Norwood in the lead in Super Pro with Scotty Widner following close behind. Pro class has Mel Shealy with a big lead over the rest of the of the class. The points can change race to race, so dont count yourself out. We have 3 races left. Next points event is August 16 in MD for the VW Nationals.
